Step 1
If you have a Nokia mobile phone, use the code * # 0000 # to get information about the firmware. Just dial it in standby mode and wait for the system information to appear on the screen. The first line will show the firmware version of your mobile device, the second - the date and time of the release of the installed software, the third - the type of your device. Please note that this code will also work if you reinstall the firmware on your mobile phone or reinstall the operating system on your smartphone.
Step 2
If you are the owner of a Siemens phone, use the combination * # 9999 # to view the version of the software installed in your device. Also, the code * # 0837 # is valid for these phones. Codes are also available when changing software.
Step 3
In order to find out information about the firmware on a Sony Ericsson phone, use the combination * # 7353273 # (means * # RELEASE #, you can remember the combination by this word). After entering it in standby mode, data with the name of the program will appear. Also use the code # 8377466 # to find out its version.
Step 4
If you have an LG mobile phone, enter 2945 # * # in standby mode and select the S / FW version item in the menu displayed on the screen of the device, in which several lines should appear at once.

For Alcatel phones, enter the engineering code * # 06 #, after the “V” symbol, view the code of the firmware installed in the device.
