Step 1
The first way to identify the model is to remove the back cover, remove the battery and see what letters and numbers are written underneath. This will be the make and model of the phone. For example, FLY-YING (brand) F003 (model). Enter the result into a search engine and see information about this device. However, on some phones of the Chinese assembly, you will only see incomprehensible characters.
Step 2
If you could not see the model under the battery, connect the phone to the computer via the USB cable. The device will be recognized as a removable disk and the disk name will be the same as the phone model. For example, MT6235.
Step 3
If you purchased a Chinese phone in the showroom, refer to the instructions. If it has at least one page in Russian or English, you can easily recognize the model. Unfortunately, Chinese manufacturers often place text in their instructions only in their native hieroglyphic language.

If you purchased a model of a Western brand, but suspect that it was assembled in China, pay attention to the following signs: the presence of two or more SIM cards (Western phones do not have this opportunity), translation errors (it comes to ridiculous: one of the phrases on Chinese Nokia N 95 was translated as "honest cookies"). There are often distortions in the names of companies and logos: Sunni Ericsson, NOKLA, an inverted Apple icon, and so on. All this suggests that the device was assembled illegally and is not of high quality. Not all Chinese phones work poorly, but if the price is too low, this is a reason to think about the advisability of buying.

Dial * # 06 # on the keyboard and press the call button. You should receive information about the phone, but if the assembly is too "gray" it may not work.
