Probably, you have faced such a situation more than once. The phone rings. It seems like a long time ago. You grab the receiver but hear only short beeps. Or you have gone somewhere without taking your phone with you. When you return, you find the missed call. How do you know who called you?
Necessary
- Telephone with number identification function.
- Access to the Internet.
Instructions
Step 1
Determining the phone number from which you were called to your cell phone is quite simple, unless, of course, this subscriber uses the anti-caller ID function. All modern phone models keep a list of incoming numbers. And since all operators include the caller ID function in the free service package, you can always see who called. To do this, find the "Calls" section on your phone. There select "Incoming" or "Missed" depending on the call you are interested in. The phone will give you a list of numbers or names if those numbers are already in your address book.
Step 2
There is another way to determine who called you on a cell phone. Go to your carrier's website. Find the "Personal Account" there. And enter it. If you do not have a login password yet, the system will offer to receive it via SMS. To do this, enter your Teephone number in the appropriate field. Wait for an SMS with a temporary password. Enter this password to enter your "Personal Account". Then come up with a new password and enter it instead of the temporary one. Almost all operators offer the Call Detailing service. However, this service is not always free. Order detailed calls for the day you are interested in. The operator will provide a list of calls and messages. Find the right one among the incoming numbers, based on the call time. This way you can determine who called you.
Step 3
If you want to determine the numbers of incoming calls to a landline telephone, install a telephone with an automatic number identification function instead of a regular telephone. Now each call will be marked in the phone's memory in the list of incoming numbers. And directly during the call, the subscriber's number will be displayed on the screen. True, such a phone requires an additional monthly payment. But you will not rack your brains over the next missed call.
