The Apple iPhone, like the iPod Touch, is not only a trendy gadget, but also an excellent multimedia player. It allows you not to get bored on the road and watch a good movie in DVD quality, while recording a movie on your iPhone is not as difficult as it seems at first glance.

Instructions
Step 1
All you need to download a movie to your iPhone is a computer with Apple iTunes installed, an MP4 movie, a USB cable, and the phone itself.
iTunes is a multimedia library and allows you to sync with Apple devices: iPod, iPhone and iPad. You can download iTunes on the official Apple website:
Connect iPhone to your computer using a USB cable. iTunes will open automatically as soon as the operating system recognizes the phone.
Step 2
In the left column of iTunes, click Library and select Movies. Then, in the top control bar, click "File" and in the explorer window that appears, select the movie file you want to add. The movie must be in *.mp4 format. Double click on it and you will see a screenshot from the video in the "Movies" section.
Step 3
Now that the movie is added to iTunes, you can set up automatic syncing, or you can simply drag a screenshot of the movie from the main iTunes window to the iPhone shortcut in the "Devices" section, which is also located in the left column.
The program will start recording the movie to the phone, which may take several minutes, depending on the size of the video file.
Step 4
If the image resolution of the movie frames is very high, Apple iTunes may complain about “format incompatibility”. To fix this incompatibility, right-click the video file in iTunes and select Convert from the context menu, then Create iPod or iPhone version. The program will automatically convert the file.
Step 5
If the movie format does not match *.mp4, but has the extension *.wmv, * avi or some other, and is not added to the iTunes library, you need to convert the video. A good converter with preset video settings for iPhone is the free XviD4PSP program.
