There are two ways to connect to the Internet using a mobile connection. Method one - connection via USB modem (3G, 4G). The second method is through a mobile phone with a modem function. Depending on the connection method, the methods of setting up the modem also differ.

Instructions
Step 1
Install the modem on your computer. To do this, connect your phone to your computer. The connection can be made via IrDA, cable, Bluetooth, PC-card. When connecting via the infrared port, turn on the infrared port of the phone and position it at a distance of no more than ten centimeters from the infrared port of the computer, and after a while the modem will be automatically installed. For a cable connection, plug the USB cable of your phone into a USB port on your computer and install the software from the phone manufacturer's CD. When connecting via Bluetooth, turn on your phone's Bluetooth and pair your phone with your computer. After that, using the "Add Hardware Wizard", install the software for your phone. Then add the phone to the list of modems as follows: Start - Settings - Control Panel - Phone and Modem - Modems - Add. In the window that opens, specify the modem you need, this is your phone model and click "Next". When connecting with a PC card, simply insert the PC card into the PCMCIA slot in your computer and wait for installation.
Step 2
Open the modem settings window on your computer in the following order: Start - Settings - Control Panel - Phone - Modem. Then open the "Modem Properties" window by clicking on the previously installed modem and clicking the "Properties" button. In the "Additional communication parameters" tab, find the "Additional initialization commands" field and write the modem initialization command. This modem initialization command is individual for each provider. To find out the initialization command, call the Internet service provider or go to their website. After you have entered the command, click the "OK" button. The modem is configured.
Step 3
Run the control program, which is usually given by the mobile operator to connect to the Internet. Make a connection, wait for a response from the program that the connection has been established.
