MMC settings in the PDA are subject to general rules and differ only in the settings of the network operator. These parameters can be obtained on the operator's website, at the office of the cellular company, and in some cases by phone.
Instructions
Step 1
Call the main menu of the PDA by pressing the "Start" button and go to the "Settings" item. Use the "Connections" tab and open the link of the same name. Go to the Advanced tab and click the Select Networks button.
Step 2
Select the "Create" command in the "Connections for programs that automatically connect to the Internet" section and enter the desired value for the name of the connection being created, for example, "MMC". Click the "Change" button and go to the "Modem" tab again use the "Create" button.
Step 3
Type a new name for the connection being created, for example "Beeline MMS", and select the "Cellular line (GPRS)" option in the "Select a modem" section. Confirm your choice by clicking the "Next" button and enter the value of mms.beeline.ru in the "Access point name" line.
Step 4
Confirm the execution of the command by clicking Next, and enter the values for the account name and password in the corresponding fields of the new dialog box. Authorize the command execution by clicking the "Finish" button and return to the network selection menu. Restore the original settings of the automatic Internet connection section for the applications to work correctly.
Step 5
Return to the main menu "Start" again to make the necessary changes to the settings of programs working with MMC and go to the item "Messages". Use the "Menu" button in the opened dialog box of the Mobile Outlook application and select the "MMS Configuration" item.
Step 6
Go to the Servers tab and click the Create button. Enter the data received from the mobile operator in the corresponding fields of the dialog box that opens and confirm the saving of the changes made by clicking the OK button. Select the created server in the next dialog box and use the "Set as default" option. Make sure that the completed action to display a red arrow on the server icon is successful and complete the MMC setup by clicking OK.
