Pocket personal computer, or PDA for short, is not in vain called "personal digital secretary." Modern PDAs have a fairly wide range of functions that allow not only to organize information, but also to make phone calls from a "PDA". For correct operation, this electronic organizer must be pre-configured with the correct date and time.
Necessary
- - instructions for working with a PDA;
- - Personal Computer;
- - installation disk.
Instructions
Step 1
Read the instructions for your Pocket PC. Depending on a specific manufacturer or PDA model, setting the date and time may have its own characteristics. For example, consider the sequence of steps for setting up a device running the Windows Mobile operating system.
Step 2
If this is the first time you set up the Pocket Laptop after purchase, first synchronize the PDA with your desktop computer. To do this, insert the installation CD supplied with the PDA into the computer's CD-ROM drive.
Step 3
Install and configure Microsoft Outlook on your computer. This is required to synchronize your contacts, tasks, mail messages and calendar with your personal computer settings.
Step 4
Connect your PDA to your desktop computer. Connect one end of the cable to a USB port on your computer and the other to the docking port on your portable device. Make sure the laptop is turned on.
Step 5
Install the system crack from the CD supplied with the PDA. Insert the disc into the reader, select the "Russian language support" and "Russifier" items in the main menu. Choose also the full or simplified version of the crack. Click the "Install" button and follow the instructions that appear on the computer screen.
Step 6
After installing the crack, go to the date and time settings. Open the Today screen on your Pocket PC. When you turn on the Pocket PC for the first time during the day, or after several hours of inactivity, this screen will open automatically. It displays tasks, scheduled appointments, and other useful information.
Step 7
Click the "Start" button and select "Settings" from the menu that appears. Go to the "System" tab and then to the "Clock and Alarms" section. On the "Time" tab, select the time zone in which you are currently located. Set the current date and time by checking with a reliable source. If you have an internet connection set up, the time can be adjusted automatically. Setting up the date and current time is now complete.
