If we talk in general about charging a telephone from a computer, it is worth noting that this method is most likely rarely used. It is much more convenient to use all the usual chargers (power consumption will be less). But in case of emergency, when there is no way to charge the phone in a standard way, this alternative will come in handy.

But Nokia devices have some nuances. For example, USB charging does not work on some models. It turns out that the whole problem lies in the correct connection of the phone and the selection of the appropriate mode. In a hurry, when connecting the device to a computer, you can reset the selection of modes, which leads to a rejection of the battery charge. Therefore, do not ignore the Select Action menu.

Connect 2 devices to each other using a USB cable. There will be a standard USB connector on one side of the wire, and a mini-usb connector on the other. Turn on your computer, it can be a personal computer, a laptop, or even a netbook.

A menu will appear on the phone screen, which consists of several items of phone startup modes. When you select any mode, the phone battery will start charging automatically. Often times, users click on "Reset" and charging does not start.
