The modern mobile phone has long ceased to be just a means of communication. Now we listen to music on it, install programs, send and receive e-mail, exchange files, and this is not a complete list of functions.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn on the phone, go to the Messages menu, then Settings, select Email Messages, then Accounts, Email. Enter the name of the mailbox. Then select its type - POP3. Then enter your email address (mailbox name without the "@" symbol). Next, enter the password for accessing the box. Save your changes.
Step 2
Select from the configured Internet connection profiles the desired one. For you to be able to set up mail in your phone, you must have correctly configured and connected to the data transfer service of your cellular operator. In the next window, enter the address of the incoming mail server, usually it looks like pop.yandex.ru (it depends on the e-mail server, you can see it in the box settings on the computer). In the "Pop3 Port" field, enter the value 110. The checkbox in the "Security »Does not need to be installed. Next, enter the address of the outgoing mail server, it usually looks like smtp.yandex.ru, do not check the box in the "Security" option. Save the settings.
Step 3
Go to the "Messages" menu, then select the "Settings" item, go to the "Email messages" item, then select "Email Profiles", select the SIM card. Enter the name associated with this operator, then enter the operator's access name, do not fill in the "Login" and "Password" fields.
Step 4
Next, enter the dns server settings provided by your operator. Check with your mobile operator for the parameters of the outgoing message server in order to be able to send letters through the mail program. You can find this information on the operator's website.
Step 5
Launch the "Email" application, select "Options", then "Account Management", then select "New" and click "OK". Select an email client, enter your name and address. Next, enter the name of the incoming mail server, password, similarly for the outgoing mail server. Then answer “No” to the question of using additional settings. Enter your account name to save your mail settings on your phone. Click Save.
