Step 1
If you need to connect the projector to your TV, then you need a device with certain functions. In this case, we mean a projector capable of transmitting a video signal. Naturally, if you are using a projector that is not capable of reading information from hard drives or other media, then first connect it to your computer.
Step 2
You should have the following diagram: computer -> projector -> TV. Select the video card connector through which you will connect the projector to the system unit. Better to use a digital channel such as HDMI or DVI-D. Naturally, the projector must have an appropriate port. If not, then use the VGA channel. Purchase a suitable cable and use it to connect the computer's graphics card to the projector.
Step 3
Now select the connector through which you will connect the TV to the projector. Modern TVs have VGA and HDMI channels. Less commonly, you can find DVI video input. Purchase the required cable and use it to connect the required devices. Turn on the TV and select the main signal receiving channel.
Step 4
Adjust the synchronous settings for your computer, projector and TV. Open the screen settings menu. Click the "Find" button and wait for the second device to be detected. Select the equipment (computer monitor or projector) that will be the main screen. Activate the corresponding function.
Step 5
Specify the setting for synchronous operation between the monitor and the projector. Considering the fact that a TV is connected to the last device, it is better to use the Expand Screen function. Activate it and click the "Save Changes" button. Now an identical image will be displayed on the TV screen and the projector canvas, different from what is transmitted to the computer monitor.
