An e-book is a multifunctional electronic device designed to read books of any format. E-books, like any electronics, do not tolerate moisture and shock, as this can affect the quality of their work.

Low weight. One of the advantages of an e-reader is the low weight of the device. An average e-book weighs about 250 grams, while it can contain one or hundreds of downloaded books. An e-book is easier to carry in your bag than a whole library of printed publications.

Great opportunities. In addition to the standard reading of books, many "readers" can easily reproduce video clips and audio recordings. Some models come with a built-in camera, which allows you to take photos at any time and then view them. The e-reader, although not a tablet computer, is not inferior to it in some aspects. And this is its advantage.

Environmental friendliness can also be considered a plus of e-books. Printed publications are the result of deforestation, its processing into paper, then the application of not always high-quality ink on it. An e-book does not require such a global work, all publications in it are virtual, not requiring the cutting down of an entire forest or a separate section of it.

The ability to make simple and understandable notes in the text is an indisputable advantage of e-books. In printed publications, even a slight underlining with a pencil can damage the content (an ugly mark will remain, a few words from a sentence may be lost, for example). In e-books, it is possible to highlight a word or part of a text without any damage, at any time the mark can be removed, which will not affect the quality of the readable publication.
Step 5
Recovering content in a few taps is a huge advantage of e-books over printed ones. Firstly, if part of the text was lost, then you can try to restore it by examining the settings of a specific gadget model. Secondly, you can simply re-download the book from the Internet. Printed books, on the other hand, often fall apart from frequent reading or careless handling.
Step 6
The quality of the display of the text. In an e-book, you can independently choose the font and the way the text is displayed (brightness, background, spread method: landscape, portrait, portrait). Some prints, unfortunately, are made on low-quality yellow paper with fuzzy ink, which can be smeared from careless movement. And this is where e-books have an advantage, too.
Step 7
The dependence on the battery level is a disadvantage of the e-book. It must be charged in a timely manner to be usable. Printed editions can stand on the shelf for years, waiting in the wings.
Step 8
Immunity to external influences is also a disadvantage of e-books. Even a minor blow can be the last for the device. Not to mention the fact that moisture, direct sunlight and some mechanical stress can break an e-book in a few seconds. The printed edition will simply take on a shabby and unsightly look.
