A subwoofer is a kind of speaker designed to reproduce low frequencies of musical signals with a frequency of 30-150 hertz. It is an indispensable component of any decent audio system and allows you to fully enjoy the sound. But you can improve it in some ways and bring the sound to the ideal.
Instructions
Step 1
Make one or several (between all the walls) spacers so that strong vibrations of the body do not generate unpleasant sounds and there is no impression that the sub is "muttering". Also, as an option, you can paste over the walls with a special vibration absorber StP, and on top with another 8 mm layer of isolon on the guerlain. As a rule, there is practically no benefit from a native sound absorber.
Step 2
If the output of the subwoofer is low, lengthen the FI tunnel and slightly decrease its diameter (not just a little). Insert a piece of plastic sewer pipe into the tunnel, pre-lubricated with glue. If the pipe enters freely, wrap it with duct tape to keep it tight and not vibrate. Use domestic rubberized electrical tape, as it winds tightly and holds the parts tightly.
Step 3
Reduce the bounce of the amplifier board by screwing the duralumin plate glued with Stp to it from below. The inner side of the plate is pasted over with isolon, with which it will tightly press against the board. This will surely remove any bounce, albeit not completely. But in any case, it will not interfere with sound reproduction.
Step 4
Saturate the subwoofer suspension with a tire restorer. The bass will become soft, deep and distinct. Perform this operation about once every six months, and the subwoofer will always delight you with its sound. Also, this liquid can be used to process the speakers of acoustics, then the whole sound will reach a qualitatively new level. This liquid is inexpensive (about 200-260 rubles) and can be purchased at any specialized automotive store.
Step 5
Position the subwoofer correctly. It is the correct location that plays an important role in the sound. He must always stand on the floor and, preferably, on a soft rug so as not to bounce on the floor. Also, a second subwoofer can "smooth out" the unevenness of the bass of your subwoofer. By having two subwoofers, you solve the problem of activating natural frequencies.
