"Search" is included in the package of additional services provided to subscribers by MTS. Often this function is included by default in one of the tariffs. To avoid overpayments, you can turn it off.
Instructions
Step 1
Dial * 111 * 12 # on your mobile phone and click on the call button. A menu of all currently connected services will appear, among which you will find “Search”. Disable this function by following the instructions on the screen. After a while, you will receive two SMS messages: with a notification that the operator has accepted the application and with a notification that the service has been successfully disconnected.
Step 2
Disable the search service through the "Internet Assistant" at the link https://ihelper.mts.ru/selfcare/ on the official website of the MTS company. You need to get a password to login, if you have not done so earlier. To do this, dial * 111 * 25 # on your mobile phone and follow the instructions of the system. After a while, you will receive a message containing the password.
Step 3
Log into the "Internet Assistant" by entering your phone number and password in the appropriate fields. Open the tab with the list of connected services, find “Search” among them and deactivate it. You can use this menu in the future and to turn the function back on, as well as manage other services from this mobile operator.
Step 4
Call the MTS contact center if there is no Internet connection. Dial the short number 0890 on your mobile phone. To call from a landline phone or when using the numbers of other mobile operators, dial 8 800 333 08 90. After establishing a connection with the operator, inform that you want to disable the Search service, explaining the reason for refusing it, and name your passport details. The operator will disconnect the service manually.
