Step 1
Purchase all the necessary parts for installing a satellite dish: a dish, a converter, a satellite receiver, a connecting cable and other small fasteners. To get an optimal signal from the Sirius satellite, you need to pick up a dish with a diameter of 1.2 m.
Step 2
Install a wall mount for the satellite dish structure. It should be upright and stable enough. Assemble the satellite dish and fix the converter in the center of the arc. It must be turned towards the Sirius satellite. It is located at 5 degrees east longitude.

To determine this, you can use a compass or a special device to determine the location of satellites. After the converter is installed in the desired position, all elements of the satellite dish must be tightly tightened so that in the event of strong winds or other actions, the position does not go astray. Connect the cable from the converter to input 1 of the DiSEqC switch in order to set the signal to the Sirius satellite. From the output of this switch, you must lead a cable to the input of the receiver. After that, tune the equipment to the desired satellite. Go to the main menu of the satellite tuner settings. Go to Antenna Installation Mode and select Manual Search. Set the frequency to 11.766 GHz, mark the horizontal polarization with the letter H (Latin) and set the flow rate to 27500 SR.

Place the satellite dish in an upright position. From now on, you need to perform the setup steps together. One person turns the dish, and the second monitors the quality of the satellite signal. It is necessary to focus on indicators such as strength and quality. Reach the maximum signal value and switch to the "Scan" mode. If the Sirius satellite setup is successful, the corresponding channel list will appear.
