Most modern smartphones either come with an impressive amount of internal memory, or provide the ability to expand it through memory cards. There are a few simple steps to take to maximize your smartphone's free memory.

Step 1
First of all, delete all files from the smartphone memory manually. Open the file manager and delete all those files that take up free space in the phone's memory, as well as uninstall programs. After completing this step, synchronize the machine with your computer.
Step 2
Everything you need to synchronize your smartphone with a computer, namely a data cable and a driver disk, can be found in the package bundle of the device. Otherwise, you need to order a data cable from the manufacturer's official website or buy it in a cellular store. On the manufacturer's website, you can also find the drivers required to connect your phone to your computer. Install them, then connect your smartphone to a PC using a data cable. For correct synchronization, it is necessary to perform actions in this sequence.
Step 3
Run your sync software and delete any files that are not system files. Use special delete buttons or just select files and press delete.
Step 4
Remove the memory card from the smartphone and insert it into the card reader. Connect the card reader to your computer, then either format the memory card or simply delete all files from it. Before deleting, it is advisable to configure the properties of the folder in such a way that the hidden and system files will be visible. Then insert the memory card back into your smartphone.
Step 5
You can also use a dedicated firmware reset code. In this case, you need to go to the manufacturer's website and find the contacts of the technical support service or the address of the nearest authorized service center. Contact a company representative and request a firmware reset code by providing the IMEI number of the device. Keep in mind that using the firmware reset code will completely erase all data stored on your smartphone that is not system data, i.e. will return it to its factory state.
