It is in the summer that we most often use the camera. Well, this is understandable, the vacation season, the sea, the beach, and I want to take as many successful photos as possible. Of course, skill comes with experience, but there are some simple tips to follow, especially for aspiring photographers.
Change your camera angle as often as possible
Sit on your knee and hold the camera at an angle. Try not to shoot people, animals or a building in the center of the frame, it looks boring. Simply put, the subject should be no more than 2/3 of the frame, and leave 1/3 of the frame for air.
Intersection points
If you mentally divide the frame into three parts horizontally and vertically, in the middle of the frame you have four points of intersection - they always attract the most attention. Therefore, try to ensure that the important objects for you fall into this central square.
Scale
Remember a simple rule of thumb for photographing against the background of large monuments or buildings: people should not stand close to the object, bring them closer to you so that they look the same size as the structure, otherwise in the photo the person you photographed will look like an ant.
Background
When taking portraits, pay attention to the background. Packages, trash, electrical wires can completely ruin the frame. Sometimes it's enough to take a step to the side and everything will turn out fine.
Successful portrait in bright sun
Try to find a nearby reflector, such as a light wall or fence. If you are on the beach, ask your friend to just lie down or sit on the sand - here is a natural reflector for you. Never aim the camera from below, you may end up with a double chin or unsympathetic nostrils on even the cutest face.
Best time for photo shoots
The bright sun is detrimental to good photography. Contrasts in such photographs will be very strong. And if the light falls from above, shadows appear under the eyes and nose. The best time for a photo shoot is morning or evening.
