Oukitel U20 Plus is a 3rd generation U-line smartphone from Oukitel. This budget camera phone was announced in 2016 and shortly thereafter went on sale simultaneously in all countries.
Appearance
Smartphone Oukitel 20u Plus outwardly practically does not differ from other smartphones of the same price category. Even body colors are already standard for all phones in recent years. You can buy it in pink, gold and gray body colors.
The smartphone screen does not occupy the entire area of the front part, sharing its space with the front camera and the home button. The second camera and its flash are customarily located on the back of the device. At the ends of the device there are volume and power buttons, as well as micro-usb and mini-jack 3, 5mm connectors.
Ergonomics
Qukitel U20 has standard dimensions for smartphones with its diagonal. The height of the device is 15.4 cm, the width is at 7.75 cm, the thickness is 0.85 cm, the weight is 195 g. The phone is comfortable in the hand, when you grip it you can control the volume or lock the device, as well as control the phone with your thumb.
The body of the device is made of durable plastic. Under heavy load, the back of the phone starts to heat up, making it unsuitable for long-term use. The phone slips out of your hands and sticks to them with prolonged use.
Characteristics
Oukitel U20 Plus has a Mediatek MT6737T quad-core processor with an operating frequency of 1.5 GHz. The processor is quite fast and allows you to perform several tasks at the same time. This is helped by the Mali-T720 MP2 graphics accelerator, which takes over part of the processor load. The test using the antutu benchmark shows 31 thousand points, putting the device on a par with middle-class smartphones.
But to do whatever you want at the same time, the processor alone will not be enough. To make this possible, the U20 has 2 GB of RAM. This will be sufficient for all types of tasks. Also, for the needs of the user, 16 GB of permanent memory is installed. But since the main feature of the phone is the camera, this is rather small. However, the total amount of memory can be increased by another 128 GB using micro-SD memory cards.
The smartphone has an IPS matrix with a diagonal of 5.5 inches. The display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels displays 16 million colors. Good brightness and contrast make it possible to use the device outdoors in any weather. But for even greater visibility, it is better to install a protective glass with an anti-reflective surface on the screen. Thanks to the large viewing angles, the device can also be used for watching movies.
But watching movies on a small phone screen isn't as enjoyable as on a large wireless-enabled TV. The phone has both a blutooth module version 4, 0 and Wi-Fi, with which you can connect to a TV. For calls or Internet access, the latest generation LTE 4G mobile communication is used, although the older hspda + and gsm are also available. The connection is good, but it depends more on the provider.
The main thing that sets the Oukitel U20 Plus apart from a bunch of other budget employees is the camera. The rear camera of the device is dual, which allows you to take photos of the same quality as expensive flagships. The resolution of the main camera is 13 megapixels, and the additional one is 0.3 megapixels. The front camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels is inferior to the main camera, but it performs its functions properly. Both cameras adjust themselves to the conditions, but you can change the settings manually in pro mode.
The price of the device starts at six thousand rubles, although in a used state it can be bought even cheaper. At the moment it can only be ordered online.
