Nowadays, when buying a product, it becomes very important that exactly where it was assembled. This also applies to cell phones. To find out in which country your phone was assembled, you can use several fairly simple methods.
Instructions
Step 1
There is a website called International Numbering Plans on the web. The text of the site is English. In order to use its services, find out the IMEI code of your phone. It's like his personal name. Enter *? 06 ?. The number that you see on the screen is the IMEI.
Step 2
On the main page of the site, select Number analysis tools, then go to IMEI number analysis. In the line where you need to enter the IMEI, dial the displayed number, click the Analyze button and get all the necessary information. If the result of your labors is the message: “Note: This IMEI number seems to be correct, but we do not have any information on this specific handset. Please add the missing information below.” This means that the phone is either, at best, not registered yet, or it is a Chinese counterfeit imported into the country outside the manufacturer's control.
Step 3
Also, the country of manufacture can be found directly by the code. This is indicated by the seventh and eighth digits of the IMEI. If the number, respectively, is 02 or 20, it means that the phone is manufactured in the Emirates, which will almost completely indicate its poor quality. The numbers 08, 78 or 20 represent Germany, 01, 70 or 10 - Finland, the first means good, and the second means excellent quality of the phone. 00 - the phone is assembled directly at the manufacturer's factory, that is, its quality will be of the highest quality. 13 - Azerbaijan, the quality will be very low. The following numbers correspond to the manufacturing countries: Great Britain (codes 19 or 40), Korea (30), Singapore (60), USA (67), China (80).
Step 4
Finally, the easiest way is to remove the back cover and look at the sticker under the battery. However, keep in mind that the sticker can always be changed if desired.
