At MWC 2018, Sony unveiled two new smartphones with flagship positioning and frameless design - the Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact. The devices were released, and now they can be purchased at a price of 59,000 rubles for the older model and 49,000 rubles for the compact version.

The interface of the device is Android 8.0 with a proprietary sony add-on, which has the ability to change themes and an optimized launcher.
The battery is 3180 mAh, which lasts about 7-8 hours in moderate operation.
Sony Xperia XZ2 compact
The younger version of the z smartphone has the same technical characteristics as the older one, except for the display here it is exactly 5 inches in diagonal and has Full HD resolution.
In general, now there are not so many such compact smartphones, because, despite the rather large screen diagonal due to thin frames, a display of this size fits in such a small case, the dimensions of which are 135x65x12, 1 mm.
The design generally resembles its older brother, with the exception of the matte finish (the photo shows a smartphone in blue), which, although there are no fingerprints left, does not look as pleasant as the gloss of the older Xperia.
The camera module also migrated from the older model.

Both smartphones have top-end technical characteristics, an excellent camera, high-quality audio chips and good IPS screens. The compact version of the flagship is generally a unique device on the market due to its size and solid autonomy with such performance. Both devices have entered a new horizon compared to the company's previous flagships - xperia xz premium and sony xperia xz platinum, both in design and quality. As before, the word xperia in the title means a high-end smartphone that is unlike any of the competitors.
