Most modern mobile operators today offer their customers a package of services that are automatically included in the tariff plan and begin to operate immediately after activating the SIM card. Among such services is the provision of WAP-Internet, which some customers do not need at all.
Instructions
Step 1
Change the profile settings on your mobile phone to any others. Thus, the phone will not be able to access the Internet, since the access point provided by the cellular operator will be changed, this action applies to all telecom operators, but has one drawback. When you turn off the Internet in this way, you do not turn off the subscription fee, which the operator can charge for you in accordance with the tariff you selected earlier. In this case, it is best to call the subscriber service from your mobile phone and ask to deactivate the service.
Step 2
Dial the number of your operator's customer support center and wait for a response from a company employee. Tell the operator that you want to cancel the provided WAP service.
Step 3
Some time after submitting the application, the mobile Internet will be disconnected. The service of disconnecting WAP is provided completely free of charge. Check on your phone if the Internet is available, in case you could not connect - WAP is disabled.
Step 4
Go to the service center of your cellular operator in person. State your intention to disable WAP on your phone. Provide an employee of the company with an identity document (if necessary) and indicate the mobile phone number from which the WAP service should be withdrawn. Wait for an answer and check on your phone if the mobile Internet is really disabled.
Step 5
Without contacting the employees of the cellular company WAP, for example, the company Beeline, you can turn it off as follows. Take your phone, insert a SIM card and activate it by entering the appropriate PIN code. After activating the SIM card, dial the following combination of numbers: * 110 * 180 #. Press the call key and wait for the SMS notification about the WAP disconnection, which should come within a few seconds after the request was sent. Similar access codes to service management are provided by each telecom operator, go to the official website of the company or look at them in the connection agreement.
Step 6
Go to the item "service management" in the phone menu and put a tick in front of the line "mobile Internet". Click on the "disable" button. In this case, you send a request to the operator who, having received it, will satisfy your need. WAP will be disconnected approximately within half an hour after leaving such a request.
