A customer who comes to the store is lost at the sight of a huge assortment of TVs and runs the risk of buying a model that is not quite right for him. To prevent this from happening, he must clearly understand what kind of apparatus he wants and what requirements it makes to it.
Instructions
Step 1
Depending on the type of screen, TVs are divided into three main types that are in demand among the general public: liquid crystal, LED-backlit and plasma TVs. The simplest selection criterion is what the user will watch: video recordings or broadcast television. If you plan to take an inexpensive display, and, consequently, small in size, and include television broadcasts, you should purchase liquid crystal electronics, and if there is enough money for a diagonal of 50 inches, and most of the time will be devoted to films recorded on discs and other media, you need buy plasma.
Step 2
LCD monitors consume a minimum of electricity, they are presented in a wide range, in which every consumer can find a TV to their liking, their price is low, and the color rendition is quite acceptable for an ordinary viewer. A plasma screen will increase energy costs, and its cost is slightly higher, but lovers of high-quality video viewing prefer it because of its good brightness and excellent color reproduction. Minus - there are no low-budget, small-sized models on the market. An LED TV has a more natural picture with a wider range of colors and additional illumination. Its price is high, while the range is limited.
Step 3
Attention should also be paid to the display format: 4: 3 or 16: 9. The first is familiar to most viewers from outdated CRT equipment and live broadcasting. It is in this format that all Russian channels are shown. Owners of cable and satellite broadcasters who have access to overseas TV programs watch some of them at 16: 9. Many movies are recorded in the same format: when they are played back in 4: 3, black bars appear at the top and bottom. However, if the old video is stretched to 16: 9, the top and bottom will be slightly cropped.
Step 4
The diagonal and resolution of the TV also depends on the type of video output on them. The majority of TV channels have certain signal parameters that cannot be improved even with high-quality equipment, therefore, to watch live programs, it is preferable to take a small TV, or sit away from it. Licensed films and part of FullHD cable channels can be watched on screens with a larger diagonal.
