Cell phones have become an integral part of our lives. Currently, many companies offer their products, and almost everyone can pick up a phone to their liking and at a price. When buying phones and its components: batteries and chargers, it is important to know if they are branded.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to distinguish an original battery from a fake one, the first thing to notice is the hologram. Make sure it is there, plus the Nokia reach out to each other at one angle, and the Nokia Original Accessories logo at another angle.
Step 2
Now try tilting the hologram left, right, down, and up. You should see dots on each side. That is, if you twist the battery in your hands, around the Nokia inscription on the hologram you will see one on the left, two on the right, three on the bottom and four on the top, respectively.
Step 3
Please note that this verification does not provide an absolute guarantee of the battery's authenticity. If you still cannot confirm that the Nokia battery is genuine, do not use it and contact your nearest Nokia service center or dealer, as this may damage your device and void any warranty.
Step 4
Check the authenticity of your battery by the serial number on the manufacturer's website, and find out all the information you need about branded batteries at www.nokia/com/battery.
Step 5
Check the contacts on the battery by pressing down on each contact with a paper clip. They are not pressed in the original. Examine the lettering on the battery - the letters should be clear, without extraneous oval, round, holographic or white questionable stickers, with the exception of the Nokia “reach out to each other” symbol, which shimmers.
Step 6
There is one more difference between an original battery and a fake one. Nokia's inscription on the hologram is parallel to the line where the battery model is indicated, while in counterfeit ones it is mostly perpendicular. Also, non-original batteries heat up very quickly, both during a call and while using the device.
