If you have an iPhone 2G, 3G or 3GS in your hands, it will not be difficult to insert a SIM card, but in the case of 4G you will have to tinker a little.

Step 1
If you have an iPhone 2G, 3G, or 3GS, take a close look at the top end of the phone case. You will see a small hole, slightly larger than the thickness of the paperclip.
Step 2
Unfold a paperclip, insert it into the hole, and press down slightly. A SIM card holder will appear from the case. Take it out and insert the SIM card inside. It is impossible to make a mistake here, because the SIM card can only be inserted in one position. Return the holder with the SIM card back to the phone.
Step 3
If you have an iPhone 4G, you'll need to look for the paperclip hole on the right side of the phone. Insert a paperclip, push down. Take out the holder and be surprised: the dimensions of the SIM-card seat are much smaller than the dimensions of a regular SIM-card!
Step 4
Don't be alarmed: the iPhone 4G uses Micro-SIM cards, and although they are different from the usual Mini-SIM sizes we are used to, they have identical contact plates. Therefore, using ordinary scissors, cut the body of your SIM card to fit the dimensions of the holder's seat. Insert the SIM card into the holder and then into the phone.
