It is rather difficult to connect the navigator using GPRS or 3G modem. Most likely, you may even need to contact the operator's technical support service to clarify the parameters of the Internet connection.
Necessary
- - computer;
- - navigator;
- - a modem with an external power supply.
Instructions
Step 1
Put your device in USB-Host mode using Registry Editor. To do this, go to the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Drivers / BuiltIn / USBOTG] branch. Next, you need to replace the value of the OTGPortMode parameter with one. When working with the registry editor, try to be as careful as possible and not confuse the names of the directories. Put your device to sleep and reboot.
Step 2
Connect GPRS or 3G modem. Please note that it must have an external power supply. Enter the name of the device driver - USB232.dll in the appeared dialog box, having previously copied this software into residentflash. In this case, the path to the driver is indicated in full. Put the device back into sleep mode and restart it.
Step 3
Run the USB232.exe driver. In the parameters, replace Recv - 82, Send - 02 (for owners of HUAWEI modems). For communication devices from other manufacturers, select values in the range of Recv - 81-85 and Send - 01-05. Open the Network and Dial-Up Connections settings, then click on create a new connection and enter any name for it of your choice.
Step 4
After the selected dial-up connection, click the "Next" button and select your modem. Apply the following parameters to it: Baud Rate - 115200, Parity - None, Stop Bits - 1, Configure - Data Bits - 8, Stop Bits - 1 - enter Harware.
Step 5
If initialization is required, enter on the connection options tab + CGDCONT = 1, "IP", "internet.name.ru", where internet.name.ru is opposite the Extra Settings parameter. Replace name with your operator's access point. Click "Next".
Step 6
Enter the number you usually use for connections. In most cases, this is * 99 #. Erase all Area and International codes beforehand. Start the created Internet connection and in Dial Properties select the Dialing Patterns setting. In the field named For Local calls Dial, erase everything except the letter G.
