Connecting mobile Internet on a phone (and not only GPRS) is available to subscribers of various telecom operators: for example, MegaFon, MTS or Beeline. You can order the necessary settings at any time.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the operator's official website to order automatic Internet settings if you are a MegaFon subscriber. On the home page, you will find a column titled "Phones". Click on it, and you will be taken to the menu "Internet settings, GPRS, WAP, MMS". The form is located there. Fill it out and submit.
Step 2
You can get GPRS settings by calling the subscriber service available at 0500. In addition, you can call from a landline phone. To do this, please use the number 502-5500. If you have any problems with the connection, please contact the operator's communication salon.
Step 3
Internet settings can be ordered in MegaFon in another way: send an SMS with the text 1 to the short number 5049 (this procedure is free). By the way, if in the message you replace the number 1 with 2, you will receive the wap settings, and if with 3, you will be able to order mms settings. Or just call any of the two numbers: 05049 and 05190. They also allow you to order the necessary data from the operator.
Step 4
Receiving Internet connection settings is also available for MTS subscribers. They need to visit the official website and fill out a short questionnaire there. In addition, you can send an sms-message without text to 1234. If you cannot set the settings yourself, contact the communication salon or the company's office for support.
Step 5
Clients of "Beeline" can connect GPRS-Internet using the Ussd-number * 110 * 181 # (dial it on the phone keypad and press the call button). You can also activate the Internet connection on your mobile by sending the command * 110 * 111 #. Be sure to save the settings, and after that turn off the device for literally a few minutes. A reboot is required for the phone to register in the GPRS network.
