iPod is Apple's line of media players. On models of the device equipped with a liquid crystal display, you can not only listen to music, but also watch movies and read text documents.

Instructions
Step 1
You can download text documents to your iPod from your computer using the free iTunes application. If you do not already have this program, download it from the Apple website and install it.
Step 2
Launch iTunes and connect your iPod to your computer using a USB cable. Search for iBooks and download a free eBook and PDF reader app. The texts saved in the editor Microsoft Word can be opened on the iPod using the free program Documents 2 Free.
Step 3
Drop downloaded apps onto your iPod. To do this, open the iTunes tab with programs and click on the "Synchronize" button.
Step 4
Copy e-books in ePub and iBooks formats to iTunes, PDF documents in and texts saved in Microsoft Word. To do this, select a group of files by clicking on the right mouse button and grabbing them in the frame. In the menu that appears, select the "Copy" item; for the same purpose, you can simultaneously press Ctrl and C. In iTunes, open the "Books" section and press the Ctrl + V combination on the keyboard. The files will appear in the iTunes window. This will make PDF documents visible on the PDF Files tab.
Step 5
Activate the sync process again to download the text files to the iPod. After completing the operation, disconnect the device from the computer. On iPod, click on the iBooks icon to launch the program. Check how the downloaded files open.
Step 6
You can download text files to your iPod by downloading them from email. To do this, you need to send an email with several attached text documents on your computer to your address. On an internet-connected iPod, open your email inbox and upload files to iBooks. Not all email services allow you to download text documents to Apple devices. For example, Gmail has this function, but Mail.ru does not.
