To temporarily disconnect your phone, first go to your telephone company.

In order not to pay a monthly fee for the month in which you are going to turn off the phone, do it a few days before the beginning of the month itself. In this case, you do not have to pay in vain the monthly subscription fee for the whole month due to several days. Keep in mind, however, that many telephone companies may charge a subscription fee to keep your number even if your phone is temporarily disconnected.
