One of the known problems for mobile phone users is the inability to charge the battery of the device. This can be caused by a problem with the charger, problems with the phone software, etc.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure the battery is not actually charging. For example, there are cases when the charging indicator on the phone screen remained unchanged, although the charging process took place in normal mode. This could be the result of a malfunctioning display or mobile phone software.
Step 2
Pick up the power supply and check it. If it is warm or hot, and the charging indicator on it is on, then the problem in this case is really hardware. Also, if charging is successful, the body of the mobile phone itself may be warm.
Step 3
If the charging indicator remains unchanged, and the charger itself also shows no signs of life, check the cell phone contacts. They can get clogged with dust and dirt. Soak a piece of bandage in pure alcohol and gently wipe the connectors. You should first turn off the device and remove the battery from it. Also wipe the charger itself. Never rinse the contacts with water, otherwise the phone may be completely damaged.
Step 4
Examine the charger cable. Over time, due to jerks, as well as being constantly in a twisted state, microcracks and breaks can appear on it, it is frayed, and as a result, the charger fails. It is also highly likely that its useful life has simply come to an end. The battery itself could waste its entire resource, in which case it will need to be replaced.
Step 5
Contact the store where you purchased your phone and charger and report your problem. If the warranty period has not yet expired, after inspection, the defective components will be replaced with new ones. Otherwise, you can purchase a new charger or send the phone for repair to a service center yourself.
