Almost every modern phone is equipped with an application with which you can listen to FM radio. It is much more convenient to carry your phone with you instead of a bulky FM-receiver.
Instructions
Step 1
Check if your phone really requires you to connect a headset to listen to radio stations. If the radio turned on and no messages were found on the phone's screen, but there is no sound, then find the "Play through external speaker" option in the settings.
Step 2
If the radio on the phone refuses to start without a headset, then you can use some of the old headphones. To do this, cut off the entire cord with scissors, leaving 5-6 cm from the side of the plug (jack).
Step 3
Even if the trick with broken headphones did not help, there is always an option to install a third-party application and listen to the radio through it. The only drawback of this method is that usually such software requires an Internet connection and, therefore, payment for web traffic.
