Neighboring Regions is a service from the MTS telecom operator that allows you to communicate even outside your home network at usual prices. When there is no need for such a service, subscribers turn it off. By the way, this can be done in several ways.

How to deactivate the service
How to deactivate the service

Instructions

Step 1

Call one of the special numbers to stop using the Neighboring Regions service. Using the number (495) 969-44-33, you can call the customer support center. The second way to deactivate an unnecessary service is the USSD request * 111 * 2150 #. At any time, the disconnection can be made by calling the free number 0890. If you are calling not from a mobile phone, but from a home phone, then you will have to dial (495) 766-01-66.

Step 2

Register in the "Internet Assistant" system (this is available to all subscribers of the MTS operator, without exception). Thanks to it, you can disable or, conversely, connect the desired service. If you have not used it yet, then you will have to set a password (the default login is the phone number of each client). To do this, call the short number 118 or send a USSD request * 111 * 25 #. Please note that the password must be strictly from 4 to 7 characters. By the way, account holders in this system have the opportunity to recover their password at any time if it is lost or forgotten.

Step 3

In addition to the self-service system, MTS also provides a service called "My Services". It makes it much easier to manage services (disable old ones, activate new ones and receive information about new products). If you want to join the users of this service, send an SMS with any text to the short number 8111. Do not forget that it will be free only on your home network. If you send an SMS to it while roaming, the operator will deduct a certain amount from your account (the amount of funds will depend on the tariff plan you use and your location).
