Android is by far the most widely available and widely used mobile operating system. Despite the stability, the developers are constantly releasing updates that improve the system's performance.
Instructions
Step 1
Connect to the Internet (preferably via a Wi-Fi connection). Go to the "Settings" menu. In most cases, it is displayed using a gear icon. Go to the "System Data" section. In some gadgets, it is called "General Settings" or "About System". A menu with various settings will open in front of you.
Step 2
Find the item titled "Automatic Updates". Check if these settings are enabled. If not, enable them. If you do not want "Android" to be updated automatically, then click on the "Updates" button. The operating system will automatically update to the latest stable version available.
Step 3
Keep in mind that the system files are quite heavy, so you won't be able to use your phone for a few minutes (or even hours). It is recommended to install updates at night, since you do not have to wait for the gadget to accept the changes. This is the easiest way to update Android on your phone.
Step 4
If the previous method does not work for you, go to the Play Market application. There, in the updates section, you can find a suitable version for your phone. If not, then download one of the applications that allows you to quickly search and install the latest versions of operating systems.
Step 5
You can also go to the official Android website and find updates for your phone there. Download the file first to your computer, then transfer it to your phone and run. The principle of operation is no different from installing a regular application.
