Step 1
Among the services that allow you to register your DNS, the following sites can be distinguished:
- dyndns.com;
- tzo.com;
- changeip.com;
- no-ip.com.
Step 2
Among the sites presented, no-ip.com stands apart for its simplicity and ease of customizing the characteristics we need. After registering on this site, you need to activate your account. Log into your account, click the Add a host button. In the Hostname field, write any name that would reflect the essence of your host, then select any domain from the list.
Step 3
After entering your data, you need to download a program to work with this site. After starting the client, click the Edit button located in the upper right corner. Fill in the fields "Login" "Password". To notify the IP change, you need to configure the program, click the Options button.
Step 4
The settings window will appear in front of you. On the Standart tab, check the box next to Run on startup and Run as a system service.
Step 5
Go to the Connection tab. This tab has two attachments, go to the Standart attachment. Check the box next to Override automatic IP detection. Select your current IP address from the IP to post for updates drop-down list. Click the "OK" button to save your changes.
