Step 1
Check out the tariffs for local communication services on the official MGTS website. Select the tariff you are interested in. Remember that you can change the tariff no more than once a month, at least 10 days before the next month, which will take into account the specifics of the calculations of the new tariff plan. MGTS offers three tariff plans for home phones - time-based (you pay exactly as much as you say), unlimited (for a certain amount you make an unlimited number of local calls) and combined (you pay a certain monthly fee, if your limit is exhausted, you will need to pay extra) …
Step 2
Find the MGTS Communication Service Center you need. A complete list of these centers with addresses is posted on the official website, click on the center you are interested in, you will see which phone numbers it serves. For convenience, this page contains a map of Moscow with an image of the addresses of service centers.
Step 3
Visit the MGTS communication service center, to which your home phone number is linked. All offices are equipped with electronic queuing devices, get your number. The electronic board will tell you which receiving window to approach. While waiting, pay attention to the information desks that are equipped with the lobby and where the required application forms are located. If you wish, you can fill out the application yourself.
Step 4
Wait for your turn, explain to the MGTS specialist that you want to switch to another tariff plan, provide him with your passport and a completed application. The specialist will change the tariff plan. Remember that if you contacted the Service Center less than 10 days before the end of the month, the tariff will be changed not in the next month, but in one. The service of switching to another tariff plan is provided free of charge.
Step 5
Find out the name of your local telephone service provider if you do not live in Moscow. Carefully study the bill for your home phone, the coordinates of the company providing these services will be indicated there, for example, in the Perm Territory, Kurgan and Tyumen regions, this is Rostelecom-Utel. Contact the customer service office (the address can be found on the official website of your operator) with a written statement of your intention to change the tariff. Be sure to provide the company employee with your passport.
