Instructions
Step 1
Install an e-mail program on your computer, for example, The Bat, Microsoft Outlook Express or any other e-mail client that will be convenient for you to use. Configure it by entering the mail server that you use for work, the login and password of the mailbox, and so on. Please note that if you want to find out the address, you need to make sure that the letter is received by you in this program.
Step 2
If you do not want to show your real postal address to this person, use an alternative one, having previously created it. If you are not in the contact list of this person, it is unlikely that you will be able to receive an incoming email message from him, so consider what you can write to him in order to follow up.
Step 3
Do not use various links in your message, as the message may be recognized by the system as spam. It is also best to use the same server to ensure that your email does not end up in your spam folder.
Step 4
Find out the IP address of the person you are interested in by receiving a letter from him in the mail client. After you open it, look at the data in the source code of the letter. Opposite the line X-Originating-IP: unknown via proxy there will be several numbers, this will be the IP address of the sender of the letter. This is one of the most reliable ways to obtain such data.
Step 5
Please note that the sender can also use a proxy server to hide the main address or reconnect after sending the letter, after which his IP will change. Look for other ways to get this information. It is best to ask the person directly, and if he refuses to provide information, respect his decision.
