As soon as the softening process begins, try to remove the compound, or rather its top layer, with the same needle. Take your time to avoid damaging the board.

Step 2

Remove the rest of the compound from the board, as well as the edges of the microcircuit with a toothpick after a thin layer remains on the surface of the board. Further, after completing these steps, you should have a microcircuit cleaned of the compound.

Step 3

Then you need to remove the microcircuit. To do this, set the temperature of the hair dryer from 270 to 290 degrees and start heating the microcircuit until balls of solder appear. Heat it for another minute and a half, then try to lift one edge of the circuit with tweezers. Remove it, then remove the rest of the compound from the board and microcircuit in the same way as in the previous steps.

Step 4

Remove the compound from the microcircuit in another way. To do this, fix the board under the microscope, heat it with a hair dryer (220 degrees), remove the compound around the circuitry with tweezers. Brush off any debris. Next, lay the flux around the perimeter.

Step 5

Heat up to 300 degrees, after half a minute pierce the compound under the microcircuit from the end using tweezers. The flux will get into these holes, slowly lift the microcircuit with tweezers and wind the braid around it. Remove the tin, then reduce the heating temperature to 200 degrees and you can remove the compound.

Step 6

Put the microcircuit in the groove, heat it again to 300 degrees, when you smell the characteristic smell of the compound, take a spatula and clean off its remnants from the microcircuit. Perform all actions very carefully so as not to damage the circuit.
