Step 1
In order to install the camera in Skype, first of all, connect the camera to your computer and install the drivers from the disk that came with it in the kit. If, for some reason, you do not have a driver distribution kit, you can always download it from the Internet, using the device code to search, in our case a webcam.
Step 2
After you make sure that the required software is installed, launch Skype and check if it has detected your camera. To do this, go to the "Settings" item, which is located in the "Tools" menu. There we find the "Video Settings" sub-item. Here, in front of the option "Enable Skype video" must be ticked.
Step 3
If the webcam is detected by the system as a new device and is working correctly, then a picture from it should appear on the right side of the screen at the top of it. If this does not happen, check if the connection is correct, software and hardware compatibility. Make sure that Active X is installed - this is a component of the flash player, without which it is impossible to play the video stream, and update if necessary.
Step 4
Sometimes, in order to solve the problem and install the camera in Skype, it is enough to reinstall the driver. The same video stream, as you see on your screen in the corner, is broadcast over the Internet to the interlocutor's computer, so he will see the same image as you.
Step 5
After making sure that the camera is working, enter its settings, and using the available brightness, contrast and saturation adjustments, adjust the image to achieve its best perception. The result will be immediately reflected on the screen. During a video session, you will always see your image and will be able to adjust its parameters in accordance with the lighting in the room.
