Step 1
It is best to use a Wi-Fi channel to connect to the Internet. This is due to the fact that this type of connection allows you to achieve high data transfer rates. Purchase a Wi-Fi module and connect it to a stationary computer.
Step 2
If you are using a laptop, you do not need to use an additional adapter. An exception is the situation when a mobile computer accesses the Internet via a wireless channel. Connect the provider's cable to the computer and set up an Internet connection.
Step 3
Update your wireless adapter management software. You don't have to create a full-fledged access point. It is enough for the adapter to work in "Computer-to-computer" mode.
Step 4
Open the Network and Sharing Center menu. It can be accessed through the control panel or the networks icon located in the tray. Follow the link "Manage wireless networks".
Step 5
Start setting up a new connection by clicking the "Add" button. In the first dialog box, click on the item "Create a computer-to-computer network". After moving to the new menu, click the "Next" button.
Step 6
Fill out the form that opens. Pay attention to the fact that in this case you can only connect one device to the used Wi-Fi adapter. This means that you are not risking anything when you select No Authentication.
Step 7
Click the Next button and select Connect. After creating a network, activate the Wi-Fi module of your mobile phone and connect to your wireless network. In the phone settings, select this connection as the main Internet access channel.
Step 8
Share your Wi-Fi network in your computer settings. Restart your internet connection.
