Types of tablets

Large tablets are considered more convenient for working with text or browsing the web. A classic example of such a tablet is the iPad. Small tablets are convenient to carry with you at all times. They can fit in any bag.
The screen resolution is also important. The higher the number, the better the display will show movies, photos or text. The best models have a resolution of the Full HD standard - 1920 * 1080 pixels, for some models this figure may be even higher.
There are also hybrid tablets. They are very similar to a laptop, but the keyboard is easily detached. This can be very convenient, especially for those who need to print large amounts of text.
Communication
All tablets can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. But it ties you to a specific place, like a cafe or a park. If you need more mobility, you need to choose devices equipped with 3G and 4G communication modules, then you will have the opportunity to use the Internet wherever you are. SIM cards are inserted into such tablets, and you can even talk on it like on the phone. However, due to the size of the device, it may not be very convenient.
Operating system
When buying a tablet, you can choose one of three operating systems: iOS, Windows or Android. Each has its own advantages and limitations. For example, more than 800,000 applications have been written for iOS on iPad. It also has additional services, such as the iTunes store, where you can buy movies and music. It is believed that the iOS operating system is the easiest to manage.
Android tablet computers are manufactured by several companies. Among them are Samsung, Sony, Asus. A large number of applications have also been written for them, and they are best compatible with Google services.
The third option is Microsoft Windows devices. They are also made by almost all large companies. There are fewer applications for such tablets than for iOS or Android, but they are best compatible with Windows and Microsoft Office. Almost external devices such as a keyboard or printer can be easily connected to these tablets.
Many applications are released for all systems, so choosing a system is a matter of personal preference. Choose the one you like best.
Device performance
Budget models differ from expensive ones not only in screen resolution or the ability to insert a sim card, but also in performance. It depends on the quality of the electronic content of the device. A large amount of RAM, a multi-core processor, a separate video chip: the larger the numbers for these indicators, the better and faster the tablet will work.
The amount of built-in memory is also important. The larger it is, the more games, music, movies or programs can be loaded onto the tablet. Apple-branded tablets cannot be expanded with memory. Most Windows and Android tablets have the option of installing an additional memory card, which will allow you to write more information to the device.
Photo and video
Most tablet computers have a built-in camera. Some have two of them: front and back. The main camera on the back is usually better. It has a large number of megapixels and works like a mobile phone camera, i.e. with its help you can take both photos and videos. There is often a flash next to this camera. The camera on the front panel is used most often for video calls, for example, via Skype, so it does not have to shoot with the same quality as the first camera, it does not require a large number of megapixels.
Accessories
Additional accessories can be purchased for the tablet: a protective case, a protective film on the screen, an additional keyboard, headphones. The stores have additional chargers, adapter cords and many accessories for the car: holders, adapters, chargers.
