The choice of a tablet, as well as a stationary computer, is a rather responsible procedure. The future owner needs to pay attention to absolutely all parameters, including RAM, so as not to regret the purchase later.
RAM on the tablet
The RAM on the tablet, as on a normal computer, is directly responsible for the speed of the device itself. Of course, not only RAM, but also other components are responsible for this parameter. Today, very often on the counter you can find such tablet computers that have 512 megabytes or 1 gigabyte of memory, less often they are found with 1, 5 GB and 2 GB. For some people, the question of choosing a tablet according to this criterion is very important, since not only the final cost of the device itself depends on it, but also the performance of some programs and applications, including games.
It is believed that the optimal amount of memory for a tablet computer today is 1 GB. That is why manufacturers of such devices are creating more tablets with so much RAM. As for directly 512 megabytes, they may well be enough to work with text applications, antivirus, some graphics applications and games, but the more memory there is on the device, the better it will work and less freeze. It is worth noting that the Internet may not work well on devices with 512 MB of RAM. To establish a good connection with the provider, you need at least 768 MB (according to most manufacturers).
Without charging - nowhere
When choosing a tablet, you should pay special attention to the battery capacity itself, namely, how much it will last without recharging. For example, cheaper or Chinese models of tablets hold a charge for literally six hours. With such a battery consumption, it will not even matter how much RAM you have on your tablet computer, since you practically cannot use it, because the battery with the application running will consume the charge very quickly. Of course, the tablet is usually used outside the home. Therefore, you need to proceed from this parameter, because you will not always be able to put it on charge. For normal operation, it is sufficient that the battery charge lasts at least 8 hours.
As a result, if a tablet computer holds a charge for at least 8 hours and with a memory capacity of even 512 megabytes, the owner of such a device will be able to use it almost anywhere and without any particular inconvenience for himself. For example, use most of the various applications and play some games, except for the most demanding on system resources.
