Take the cable TV tuner out of the box, visually check the integrity of the decoder components. Open the cover on the remote control and insert two AA batteries, observing the polarity. Connect the antenna cable with a screw-on or F-type crimp connector to the RF-in (Ant-in) input of the patch panel located on the back of the TV tuner. Connect the included RCA AV cable to the color connectors of the patch panel. panels on the back of the TV tuner on one side and to the corresponding color connectors of the TV on the other side.
Step 2
Turn on the digital tuner and TV. Switch to the appropriate input, for example TV / AV. Press “Menu” on the TV tuner remote control. Move the cursor to the section "Auto channel search" and press the "OK" button. The tuner starts scanning the channels. At the end of the automatic search of channels, the found ones will be displayed on the screen. Press "OK" on the remote control. To exit the "Main menu" press the exit button several times or in the "Main menu" move the cursor with the control buttons to the "Exit" position and press "OK". The channel number will be displayed on the front panel of the TV tuner. If you want to search for channels manually, you should select “Manual channel search” in the menu subsection. Option "Reset channels" - will reset all previous channel settings. Press Auto Channel Search to search again. To sort channels, to group the list or transfer a channel to another number, select the "Sort channels" option. After each change, press "OK". To view the electronic program guide (EPG), press the "EPG" button on the remote control. The screen will display two lists: at the top - the list of channels, at the bottom - the list of programs for the selected channel. To move through the list, use the "up" "down" control buttons on the remote control. To exit the EPG menu, press Exit on the remote control.
