I would like to note right away that you can connect not only routers using wireless data transmission, but also wired devices and switches. The second point: to ensure the best quality of communication, it is better to use a wired connection of devices. Install routers in such a way as to provide maximum coverage. Connect the routers with a network cable as follows: connect one end of the cable to the Internet or WAN port of the first router, and the other to an available LAN port of the second router.

Connect the second router to the Internet connection cable via the WAN or Internet port. In this case, you need to configure access to the Internet or local resources on the main router. Open its settings and find the item "Internet setup". Select the required parameters depending on the router manufacturer and the requirements of your provider.

Open the secondary router settings. Specify a static or dynamic IP address in the local connection settings. Create a wireless Wi-Fi hotspot and allow the computers of the future local network to access the Internet provided by the main router.
