In places remote from cities, it can be difficult to tune a TV using a conventional antenna, but it is in such places that the TV is often the only source of information about what is happening in the country and in the world, as well as a teacher, advisor and a stable source of entertainment.
Instructions
Step 1
Choose a location for installing a satellite dish, being guided by the fact that all satellites are located in the south if you live in the northern hemisphere, and accordingly in the northern if your hemisphere is southern. Any obstruction on the satellite-to-antenna line, even tree leaves, will make reception impossible.
Step 2
Check if the location you choose is a good compromise between ease of installation (maintenance) and protection from unwanted external influences on the plate.
Step 3
Assemble the antenna according to the instructions that came with it.
Step 4
Install it in the chosen place (screw the brackets, hang the antenna) so that you can adjust it.
Step 5
Prepare the cable by installing the high frequency F connectors if the antenna is remote from the TV.
Step 6
Connect the converter and receiver with a cable. Connect the receiver to your TV.
Step 7
Supply electricity to the antenna site.
Step 8
Connect the receiver and TV to power.
Step 9
Install the antenna in the same direction and at the same angle as your neighbors.
Step 10
Press the "i" button a couple of times if you bought an already tuned receiver. If not, enter the menu and follow the instructions until you see the quality adjustment scales on the TV screen. If a signal is found, go to step 13.
Step 11
Change the vertical angle of the plate slightly. If no signal is found, try again or go to step 12.
Step 12
Give the antenna the required tilt, having previously used the Satellite Antenna Alignment program to calculate the installation angle, specifying the coordinates using a GPS navigator.
Step 13
Rotate the antenna slowly horizontally to achieve maximum signal strength.
Step 14
Tighten all mounting bolts. Click OK in the settings menu.
Step 15
Make sure to catch that satellite by the channel names.
