On the edge of the screen there is a part of the case, the dimensions of which must be measured on the inside. You need the diagonal of the screen, not the entire panel of the TV. Next, remember the Pythagorean theorem, and using this theorem, calculate the diagonal you need. The formula of the Pythagorean theorem is as follows: d = √ (a2 + b2). d in this formula are the diagonal and a and b are the sides of the rectangle. Substitute the dimensions of the sides of the TV and get the diagonal size.

The disadvantage of this measurement is one of the sides of the TV, and then measure with a ruler. Do the same with the second side. This method of measurement will be slightly more accurate.
