Connecting to a phone connected to the Internet is via Wi-Fi. This can be very handy in a number of cases. For example, if you have an unstable network at your dacha, then you can find somewhere nearby a point where the best signal will be. There you put your phone and it distributes a relatively stable Internet connection.
In order to configure the phone to work as a Wi-Fi access point, you just need to navigate at least a little in the menu of your smartphone. Typically, users can easily complete this task the first time on their own.
Go to the menu of your phone, select the settings section. In the settings section, we are interested in the item additionally. The section additionally contains the Modem Mode tab. Go to this section and see the Wi-Fi router tab. We go to this section and there we see the function to enable or disable, as well as the basic settings.
We translate the slider to the "enable" position. A menu with additional settings opens. There it remains to enter the password to access the distribution from the smartphone and the desired login. Also set the working hours of the distribution.
Now we take the second smartphone and find the network, the distribution of which we have just organized. Enter the password and connect. From now on, we can use the Internet from the first phone to the second smartphone.
The same function can be realized by individual devices that are sold by each telecom operator. These devices have a very limited functionality, so it is much more profitable to use an old, poor smartphone as a modem and access point than to overpay for another not the most convenient additional device.
