Instructions
Step 1
To determine the authenticity of your phone, display a special fifteen-digit identification number on its screen. To do this, enter the combination * # 06 # from the keyboard, rewrite the number that appears and open the following address in your browser: https://www.numberingplans.com/?page=analysis. On the page that opens, select imei id check and check the authenticity of your phone. If the imei number you entered was not found in the database, it is very possible that your phone is fake.
Step 2
To find out information about the country of manufacture of your mobile device, use the same identifier. Pay special attention to the 7 and 8 digits - they are pointers to the country of manufacture of the device. Number 13 means the producing country Azerbaijan, 10 and 70 - Finland, 78 and 20 - Germany, 02 - United Arab Emirates, 80 - China, 44 - North Korea, 19 and 40 - Great Britain and so on.
Step 3
You can learn more about the structure of the imei identifier by clicking on the following link: https://aproject.narod.ru/note/imei.html. Use this information when purchasing a cell phone. Do not trust the information on the price tags, since logisticians can also make mistakes in specifying basic information about the product.
Step 4
In order to identify it after returning your lost phone, compare the imei number of your phone in the system and on a special sticker under the battery with the data specified in the documentation and on the box from the mobile device you purchased.
Step 5
Please also note that if the number was intercepted by a special program, then the phone will not be identified. At the moment, manufacturers are doing everything possible to prevent this action by installing additional identifier protection on mobile phones.
