Instructions
Step 1
First of all, you can use a VHS video recorder if you still have one in working order. It is not difficult to record a transmission with it, but the quality will not be up to par.
Step 2
The preferred option would be to use a computer and a TV tuner.
Step 3
Make sure the antenna cable is connected to the tuner input and the correct channels are set in the TV viewer.
Step 4
Go to the viewer settings and specify the data important for future recording: its source (your TV tuner), the location where the file is saved (a fast hard drive with sufficient free space is desirable), the recording format and the codecs used.
Step 5
Now that everything is ready, you just need to press the record button in the interface of the tuner control program and when the transmission is over, stop recording with the "stop" button.
Step 6
Now, in the location you specified on your hard drive, there is a video file with your favorite show.
