Today, almost every person has a cell phone, but still sometimes it becomes necessary to use a landline telephone to call a mobile phone. Sometimes it is necessary at least to find your cell phone, which is lost somewhere in the apartment.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure to remember the cell phone number you are going to call. Open the notebook where he is recorded, or find him in the list of contacts on your cell phone, if the number is entered there. The fact is that pauses when dialing a number can be interpreted by the PBX as codes for long-distance numbers and instead of the subscriber you want to connect to, you will make a call to your home phone in another city.
Step 2
The peculiarity of a call from a home phone to a cell phone is that instead of +7 you need to dial 8. +7 is the telephone code of Russia. The PABX, which routes all telephone calls from home numbers, assumes by default that the call is made within the exact same local numbers. 8 is a symbol indicating that long-distance communication is needed. The same number is used if you need to call a mobile number.
Step 3
After you have dialed eight, wait for the dial tone.
Step 4
Now dial the number as you would normally dial on a cell phone. First, the operator code, consisting of three digits, then another seven digits that make up the number of the subscriber you are calling.
Step 5
The complete sequence looks like this: 8 (beep) *** (three digits is the operator code) ******* (this is the number itself).
Step 6
If you need to make a call to a cell number belonging to an operator in another country, then proceed in the same way. First 8 - this indicates that the call is not directed to a local number. Then dial 10 - this indicates to the PBX that an international call is being made. Next, you need to dial the phone number in full, with the operator code. For example, for a Ukrainian number it will start with 38 - this is the country code, then three digits - the operator's code and another 7 digits - the number itself.
