Try to return the stolen phone by IMEI. This is an International Mobile Equipment Identifier that is assigned to each mobile device. IMEI is assigned at the factory and entered into the "firmware" of the phone. You can read the identifier under the battery on the device itself, on the box in which the phone was sold, and in the warranty card. You can also find out the IMEI like this. Dial * # 06 # on the phone, this number will be displayed on the screen.
Step 3
To return a stolen phone by IMEI, immediately after the incident, go to the police station and write a statement. Include in it all the details of how it happened. Write in the statement the IMEI of the phone. Bring your documents and a box from the device with you. You may be asked to bring also a printout of calls for the last day, you can take it at the nearest office of your telecom operator. And that's all. It remains to wait.
