Step 1
You can install and update maps for Navitel Navigator both in automatic and manual mode. To install the cards yourself, you need a personal computer or laptop. Remember that maps from the "old", third version of "Navigator" will not work with the new, fifth version. The new cards are heavier and contain much more information.
Step 2
Download the maps you need for all of Russia or individual regions from the manufacturer's website or any tracker. Maps are suitable for Navitel Navigator on various systems - Android, Symbian and Windows Mobile. The location of the map folder is also the same.
Step 3
If you downloaded the maps in the archive, unpack it to any place convenient for you. Connect your device to your computer or laptop in any way you can. Find the folder “NavitelContent / Maps \” through the computer explorer and copy the downloaded maps to this directory. If you wish, you can put the maps of regions and countries into separate folders.
Step 4
Then run the program. Ideally, she should discover the maps herself and compile an atlas. If this did not happen, enter the "Menu", then click "Settings" - "Maps" - "Open atlas". Now select the required maps in your device explorer and click the "Create Atlas" button.
Step 5
If you update maps automatically. This method is available only when connected to the Internet. Enter "Menu" - "Settings" - "Map". Then select the item "Check for update. The program will connect to the Navitel Navigator server and after a while will inform you about the possibility of updating maps by showing a list of them. Select the ones you want and click "Install". This item is available on all devices on any of the three operating systems - Symbian, Android and Windows Phone. After updating the maps, the atlas will automatically update.
