Working with photos is fun. But before you start editing images, you need to transfer them from the camera to your computer.

Step 1
There are several ways to save images captured with a digital camera to your computer. The first is based on working with the software supplied with the camera, which is supplied with the purchase. Examine the packaging carefully. It should contain a disk with a program that must be installed on a computer for further work with images. Place the disc in the drive, wait for the download to start, it should start automatically, agree with all the suggested points and wait for the wizard to finish.
Step 2
Reboot your computer. Then use the USB cable to connect the camera to the computer and start work following the prompts of the program.

You can use another method, it is much easier. Using the supplied USB cable, connect the computer and the camera, which, after connecting, must be switched to the operating mode (on / off button) or viewing mode. At the first download to the computer, it will inform you about the discovery of a new device and offer to install it. Allow this action and wait until the configuration wizard completes and the necessary drivers are installed. Sometimes for correct operation it is required to reboot the "unit".
Step 4
Disconnect the camera and restart your computer. Then turn on the camera again. It will open on your computer as a removable disk. Open the folder with the images, select the ones you need, copy (right-click) and paste them into a folder prepared in advance on your hard disk, or add them to an existing one. To prevent photos from clogging up your digital camera, when saving them to your computer, instead of "copy", select the "cut" option.
Step 5
However, if opportunities allow, you can do without connecting a cable and installing software. All you need is a card reader, which you will need to connect to your computer and copy the photo as described earlier. If the computer or laptop has a slot for a flash card, the actions with images are similar to the previous ones: open a folder - select - copy - save.
